The memory, I/O and interrupt used by the SGP adapter are configured by the PCI BIOS. No hardware settings are required for this adapter.
The SGP is a two or four port card. On the two port cards link 0 is at the top (furthest from the motherboard when plugged into the PC) and link 1 at the bottom. On the four port cards, the links split out from the adapter's connector using a "Y" cable. The link numbers are labelled at the ends of the cable.
The SGP supports V.35, RS-232, RS-422, RS-530 and X.21 electrical interfaces on each link.
