System Startup Scripts

The Wanware startup script is /etc/init.d/wanware.

The startup scripts in this directory are enabled using the chkconfig program. When Wanware is installed this service is enabled. It can be disabled by running;

chkconfig wanware off

or enabled by running

chkconfig wanware on

To view the run levels for the on/off state of this service use:

chkconfig --list wanware

The Software Group recommends to not edit these scripts directly. Use wwconfig or wwconfig.local to set the parameters. For example /etc/wwconfig/wwconfig.local can be used to turn on accounting.

Startup Log Files

The log files are saved to /var/log/x25/x25dlog. x25daemon logs system startup and shutdown data only. This log file does not contain received call data.
