Introduction

SyncSwitch is a comprehensive hardware/software package used to provide direct TCP/IP access to IP-based LANs, intranets and the Internet for legacy communcations transport protocols, such as X.25, Frame Relay and SNA. SyncSwitch transports X.25, Frame Relay and SNA traffic over a TCP/IP network to a second SyncSwitch, which converts the information back into the original protocol. Only a simple Ethernet network is required to allow two clients running legacy protocols to talk to one another.

This guide describes how to administer SyncSwitch.

If you are installing this product for the first time you should read the Installer's Guide first.
