The Trace feature interprets trace buffers maintained by the protocol software to display the contents of all frames exchanged with the remote on the standard output device. Frames arriving from the remote with incorrect CRC characters are not displayed.

| Character Decoding | Use this to decode the packet trace information from ASCII or EBCDIC to plain text. |
| Decode Facilities | Starts a symbolic display of packet level facilities. |
| Decode Packet Level | Starts a symbolic display of packet level data. |
| Show Time Stamps | Prints the time of the frames arrival in the first column of the symbolic display. |
| Show Frame Level RRs | Turns on Frame level RR tracing. |
| Raw Trace | Will display raw data. Protocol headers will not be interpreted. |
