Raw Framed Synchronous Link Configuration

Introduction

Link configuration is the process of defining the protocol parameters for links. Many many protocol parameters can safely be left as default values.

The Software Group provides a browser-based interface to configure links. Link configuration parameters can only be changed by the "admin" user. The "statistics" user can examine the parameters configuration but cannot change them.

Using the Web Interface

Point a browser to http://IPaddress (where 'IPaddress' is the IP address assigned to the SyncSwitch 1000) and log in as User ID "admin".
Select Serial Link Configuration in the left-hand navigation.
To change a parameter select or type in a new value.
After making all necessary changes, select Apply.
