These command line options are recognized:

| -d | Network Address to call; this must be present |
| -x | full path name of minor device to use; generally it is preferred to let xprint chose an available device. |
| -f | Fep number (0-3) to place call on (default 0) |
| -l | Link number (0-3) to place call on (default 0) |
| -N | NUI to place in outgoing call; up to 14 digits |
| -u | Call user data to place in this call |
| -t | RPOA to place in this call |
| -C | Closed User Group (two digits) selection for this call |
| -D | Specify Delivery Confirmation on this call |
| -F | Specify Fast Select on this call |
| -R | Specify Fast Select with Restricted Response on this call |
| -T | specify drain time in seconds (default 0) |
| -v | Verbose mode; use for debugging only |
| -s | Strip high order bits on received data |
| -r | Specify Reverse charging on this call |
| -p | Specify priority call (Datapac only) on this call |
