x25net(1)
Name
x25net - start/stop X.25 services
Syntax
x25net start [flags]
x25net stop
Description
x25net starts or stops X.25 services.
x25net start
starts X.25 services. flags may be any options supported by
x25daemon. The following tasks are performed when X.25 services are
started:
- The X.25 server, x25daemon, is started with the specified
flags.
- x25config is invoked to set X.25 configurations for each
X.25 network described in /etc/packetnets. For each
network_name, x25net specifies
/usr/lib/x25/config/net.<network_name> as the
configuration file providing the file exists. If it does not exist,
/usr/lib/x25/config/net.default is used.
- x25net may invoke x25route to add X.25 routes and
X.25 User Facilities for IP remote hosts; the appropriate IP hosts,
X.25 routes and X.25 User Facilities are specified within
x25net.
x25net stop
stops X.25 services. The following tasks are performed
when X.25 services are stopped:
- The X.25 server, x25daemon, is killed.
- x25route is invoked to delete all X.25 routes to IP hosts
from x25route's address routing table.
