These command line options are recognized:
| Option | Description |
| -v | The PVC's Logical Channel Identifier. Default is 1. |
| -p | The maximum data packet size that is allowed on this PVC for both incoming and outgoing packets. Default is 128. |
| -w | The packet window for this PVC for both directions of traffic. Default is 2. |
| -t | enable debugging output to stdout. |
| -s | stripping of parity bit (high order bit) on all data received from the X.25 virtual circuit before it is sent to the user's terminal. |
| -x | specifies the full path device name to use. It is generally preferred to let pvct choose an available device. |
| -f | specifies the FEP (Front End Processor) number. This option is defaulted to zero. |
| -n | picks the network ID (from /etc/packetnets). The default is 0. |
